The Project
The project involved the construction of a new office building which included the headquarter for the National Oil Company in Budapest, Hungary. It utilised district heating systems for heating purposes but did not incorporate district cooling. This building, standing as the first skyscraper in Budapest, boasts 28 floors, reaching a height of 120 meters, and spans across 86,000 square meters.
The Hydronic Challenge
The project included the implementation of a changeover system for high-efficiency climate ceilings, catering to various pressure zones ranging from PN8 to PN25. Additionally, pressurisation systems were integrated to facilitate the changeover process effectively.
The Solution
IMI implemented a change-over solution, which consisted of the TA-MODULATOR and TA-Slider 160 CO KNX, operating based on KNX BMS technology. Additionally, for the changeover system pressurisation, IMI-Pneumatex Master-Slave IO solution were used.
