The Hydronic Challenge
The challenge in this project was to devise the most efficient solution with variable flow while ensuring everything fits within the existing dimensions of the Sava Centre’s technical rooms.
The Solution
To address this challenge, a variable flow system was implemented, utilising TA-Modulator with TA-Slider on the Air Handling Units and TA-Compact P with EMO-T on the Fail Coil units. ZIO separators were incorporated for maintaining water quality, while Transfero devices were employed for pressure maintenance. As a result of these solutions, the Sava Centre was able to reduce its energy consumption by 50%. Additionally, the use of renewable energy sources is expected to save 226 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
