We are proud that IMI was invited to take part in this journey. Our purpose is simple yet powerful: the way we heat and cool buildings has a direct impact on people’s comfort and our planet’s future.
From private homes to large commercial sites, our goal is to deliver smarter, more sustainable climate control solutions that often go unseen, but make a difference every day.

Sustainability in action
Our commitment goes beyond performance. Across all our sites, sustainability drives our decisions:
- 54.3% of our waste was recycled directly back into production in 2024, reducing material waste at the source
- 98.9% of total waste is recycled in some form, including energy recovery
- Our brass components contain over 90% recycled content across all raw material variants used at our sites (with some alloys, such as gunmetal, reaching close to 100% recycled content)
- Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) demonstrate the transparency and lifecycle impact of our products
- We are proud to hold an EcoVadis sustainability rating, recognising our efforts to integrate responsible practices into everything we do
- Sustainability is part of every product and every decision.
Why it matters
Buildings account for nearly 40% of global energy use, with heating and cooling as the largest contributors.
By reimagining climate control, we are helping to cut energy demand, reduce emissions, and create more comfortable living and working environments.
